Plaid Saturday at The Very Merry
The Urban Dictionary says Plaid Saturday encourages people to do their shopping with locally owned and independent businesses the day after Thanksgiving. We are taking that definition and twisting it into our own "PLAID SATURDAY at The Very Merry". On Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10, we become a community of small shops of Area Artisans! Artist/Craftspeople/Authors/Purveyors of Good Thing to Eat, gather at 323 Water Street, the Baraboo Arts Building, in Baraboo, Wisconsin, to sell the things they make. Convenient Holiday shopping under one historic roof. Join US on PLAID SATURDAY! Find your best PLAID shirt, pants, socks, hats, scarfs and coats and show your support for local small businesses. Anyone coming through the door wearing PLAID, on the way out! ('til gone.) Then, continue your PLAID SATURDAY support by taking the three block stroll to the "Magic of Christmas" in our Festive Downtown.
The Very Merry Holiday Fair #16 – Celebrate Your Inner Santa - Friday, December 9 - Noon to 6 pm and Saturday, December 10 - 9 am to 4 pm – 323 Water Street – Baraboo Arts Building - Baraboo, Wisconsin. Sixty area Artisans open their booths to Holiday and Christmas shopping. Find extraordinary gifts and hand created treasures, all made by the Artisan in each booth. FREE admission and parking. Wine tasting with the Baraboo Bluff Winery.
