The Vandergrift Artfest: Art Gone Grimm
Vandergrift Artfest, will take place on Sunday, July 27th in Vandergrift, PA from noon to 9 pm. This large festival draws 2 - 3,000 people annually to the historic town of Vandergrift. While this is the 19th year for a Vandergrift Artfest, we began theming the event in 2021, leading to tremendous growth in attendance. This year's theme is "Art Gone Grimm" and we will be paying honor to the art of the Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales.
We will have about 100 vendors between our artisans and food vendors. All products must be maker made since this is an artfest. A wide variety of food and beverage will be available in the food truck area. Costumed characters will roam about and participate in street theater.
We have an art show going on in 134 Grant Avenue where visitors will be able to help choose the people's choice work for a cash prize. There is a scavenger hunt around town to find Grimm symbols, and a costume contest. 15 acts will play on the main and acoustic stages throughout the day. Free children's activities are also available.
Since parking in Vandergrift is limited, we offer a free park and ride shuttle from the Big Lots in Allegheny Township. The shuttle runs from 11:300 am to 9:30 pm.
Last year this festival was chosen as best of best in the Trib Eastern edition for festival.
