The Tarot: A Tutorial on Zoom--Today's Session on Suit of Swords
The Seymour Library is hosting a Zoom tutorial series presented by Barry Pirro. Mr. Pirro besides being a well known paranormal investigators is a Tarot aficionado and teacher.
He will lead a series on the Tarot deck as a hobby and form of personal entertainment. Each of the sessions will showcase a specific topic related to Tarot. The symbolically accepted meanings of the cards, the basics of spreads, and Barry's insights as to how to combine to tell a story will be some of the topics discussed. The Rider-Waite Tarot deck is the preferred deck for these lectures and having access to a Rider-Waite deck to follow along will be beneficial. These sessions are not recorded. They are geared toward an audience of sixteen years and above. Each program will be on a Wednesday, will start at 6:30 pm on Zoom and will be one hour in length while allowing for some questions and answers. The dates and subjects are as follows:
The March 8th will pertain to the suit of Swords. The March 15th will pertain to the suit of Staffs. The March 22nd will pertain to the suit of Coins. The last session on April 19th will be a wrap up session and discussion on spreads.
