The Takeover features free, high-energy concerts nearly every Thursday of summer June 1 - August 24, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the clock tower, 9285 Centre Pointe Drive. West Chester Township presents an exciting lineup of more than a dozen bands, while a host of community organizations team up to bring the party together.  Don’t miss opening night as we celebrate our community’s 200th birthday bicentennial anniversary with cover band The Remains on Thursday, June 1. The first concert of summer is part of a four-day West Chester Founders’ Day Weekend celebration June 1-4, 2023.  Make Thursday nights into fun date... The Takeover features free, high-energy concerts nearly every Thursday of summer June 1 - August 24, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the clock tower, 9285 Centre Pointe Drive. West Chester Township presents an exciting lineup of more than a dozen bands, while a host of community organizations team up to bring the party together.  Don’t miss opening night as we celebrate our community’s 200th birthday bicentennial anniversary with cover band The Remains on Thursday, June 1. The first concert of summer is part of a four-day West Chester Founders’ Day Weekend celebration June 1-4, 2023.  Make Thursday nights into fun date nights every week with new dinner and drink offerings brought to you in the park! Your patronage supports several local non-profits and small businesses who help make these events possible. Our Thursday night non-profit partners include: Caring Community Collaborative (C3), Union Centre Boulevard Merchant Association (UCBMA), St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Council #13608, Rotary Club of West Chester/Liberty, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7696, American Legion Post 681, and West Chester ~ Union Township Historical Society.  Non-profits work together with West Chester businesses DogBerry Brewing, Grainworks Brewing Company and Ohio Eagle Distributing to provide guests various adult beverage options.
