The Story Behind the Story
“The Story Behind the Story” is a brief look at the people, places, and events that affect Katie Harris, the main character and sleuth. The presentation features notable names from the Civil War period and info about medicine during this period.
A bingo-type game will follow in which participants answer questions from the presentation and Civil War trivia. Books will be available for purchase.
Kim Wuescher, who writes under the pen name Mae McGraw, is a retired teacher and author. Wuescher taught English for many years at Barberton High School and Bitter Medicine is the first book in her Katie Harris series.
