The Spiritual Origins of Halloween
Since ancient times, cultures all over the world have marked the seasonal “wheel of the year” with celebrations reflecting the cycles of nature. The days grow shorter and in this deep, liminal time, celebrations have long been observed as a feast of the dead and an honoring of ancestors.
Join presenter Deborah Roth as she explores some of these multi-cultural traditions and create sacred space to enter the darkest weeks of the year with our own modern-day remembrance ritual. This event is available as a livestream if you are unable to attend in person.
