The Ruckus Revival: Circus of Chaos!
STEP ON UP to our circus with teeth! We’re bringing a wild anarchic celebration of the big top bonanza, spiked with delicious danger of sparks, snakes, tag team acrobats, punchline prize fighters, punk rock hip hop and more! Come to the biggest and boldest variety show in the Bay, where every act flirts with disaster, and there’s no soft landings and no safety net. This show will be a rip roaring ode to the awe and thrilling carnage of circus, remixed by raconteurs, rebels and comedians from the best in the performance underground.
Join us for a full throttle collision of blazing burlesque, stand-up, aerial, contortion, pole performance, freestyle rap, lyricism, sideshow stunts, and dirty haiku battles. The winner of multiple "Best of the Bay" awards, the SF Chronicle calls Ruckus "a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent" and "a tent revival for misfits and freaks, those whose artistry or spectatorship has a homespun bent and a bandit streak."
Every show features an all new lineup, and both the freestyle rap battle and slam are open for anyone to sign up and compete for $400 in cash prizes, judged by the audience!
