WHAT: Rhode Island College presents The KAIROS Dance Theater. The company in collaboration with legendary contemporary choreographer and dancer Paula
Josa-Jones who collaborated with Kairos Artistic Director DeAnna Pellecchia. HUSK/VESSEL is an evening-length piece conceived by Josa-Jones and
co-choreographed with Pellecchia for KAIROS which explores costumes and clothing as
both covering and habitat, and how both actual and metaphorical layers aid
humans in hiding or revealing themselves. Josa-Jones opens the show with a new
solo work, CAVALLUS. RIC Dance Company will perform premiere of Josa-Jones/Pellecchia's lasted dance, KYIV, a homage to the Ukraine people.
