The Principles of Performance Workshop with Chris Kastle
On behalf of the North Florida Poetry Hub, Chris Kastle, award-winning poet, storyteller, and musician, shares a system for enhancing presentation skills for poets, storytellers, or just getting a message across to an audience in everyday life. If people are listening, you have an audience! It will also suggest a specific method for evaluating your own skills and learning through observing others.
There is a “hands-on” aspect to this workshop; participants are asked to be prepared to present an original work of not more than 5 minutes in length. It can be read or memorized.
