The Philadelphia Antiques Show

Fifty of the nation's leading arts and antiques dealers from across the country will showcase rare period furniture, folk and fine art, ceramics, porcelain, silver and textiles at The Philadelphia Antiques Show. The event, organized by a committee of more than 250 volunteers, is widely recognized as the premier American antiques and decorative arts show in the country and attracts thousands of visitors each year from around the globe. The 2009 show will feature a special museum-quality loan exhibit titled Patriots and Presidents: Philadelphia Portrait Miniatures, 1760-1860, a unique collection of portrait miniatures depicting early Philadelphia's most prominent figures. The 48th annual show, which runs Saturday, April 18 through Tuesday, April 21, 2009, continues for the second year at its new location at The Navy Yard. The 2009 Philadelphia Antiques Show is presented by The Haverford Trust Company, and proceeds benefit Penn Medicine.
