The People's Music School's Associate Board Presents: Play It Forward Fundraiser
The Associate Board—a group of young professionals who support our mission through advocacy, volunteering, and fundraising—is hosting its annual signature event on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00–7:30pm at Carol’s Pub in Uptown. Guests will enjoy food, drinks, live music, games, and prize drawings—all in support of tuition-free music education for low-income students across Chicago.
Your $50 ticket gets you access to the event, plus 2 drinks and a buffet. Also available for purchase are tickets to enter a prize drawing and get a chance to win some amazing prizes!
Live music by Model-J! Model-J plays hits that span the decades. Their recent gigs include Mayfestiversary, The Cubby Bear, Lincoln Square Summer Concert Series, and more! Featuring Miriam Owens, TPMS President & CEO (Vocals), Kevin Dolan (Guitar), Daniel Orbach (Guitar), Jeremy Kulbarsh (Bass) and Christopher Paquette (Drums). The People’s Music School is Chicago’s largest and oldest completely tuition-free music school, providing intensive after-school music instruction to over 800 K–12 students in historically underserved communities. We believe in the transformative power of music to uplift youth, families, and entire communities.
