The Oracle is a devised, immersive, ritualistic, improvisational theatre piece based on the Oracle at Delphi. It comedically and dramatically explores questions the audience has about life and living in today's world.
The Oracle has received 9 previous productions around the globe, including Chicago, Illinois; Kildare County, Ireland; Manila, Philippines; Prague, Czech Republic; Saco, Maine; Savannah, Georgia; Singapore, Republic of Singapore; Taipei, Taiwan; and Vienna, Austria.
The Oracle is created/directed by Jonathan Pitts, a Chicago based award-winning international improviser, creator, and storyteller. The San Francisco production features an ensemble of west coast-based actors and musicians from San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, and Juneau, all brought together for this unique show.
