The Northern Lights - an EEC Outreach Program
Winter above the Arctic Circle is defined by a distinct absence of sunlight. This period of time is called the Polar Night. The Polar Night brings with it 24 hours of darkness, but also Earth’s greatest light show. Join us for a program about the beauty and science behind the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. Visiting Norway, Greenland, and even Basking Ridge, we will attempt to comprehend one of nature’s greatest phenomena.
