Author and UC Davis alumna Janet Kaidantzis will share these women's remarkable stories and a glimpse into her research process using historical materials, including diaries, personal correspondence, and photographs, from the UC Davis Library’s Archives and Special Collections. About the Speaker Janet Kaidantzis is a UC Davis graduate (1988) and holds an MBA from the University of Washington (1992) and an MA in Public History from California State University, East Bay (2023). She is the author of Fallen Leaf: A Lake and its People 1850-1950. In Fall 2024, her article about early Tahoe tourism was published in California History, the journal of the California Historical Society.
