The Moanin' Frogs, Youth always FREE
Conservatory trained, their genre-bending and dynamic renditions of classical, ragtime, jazz, and pop delight fans worldwide.
Featuring six saxophones from soprano to bass, they were First Prize winners of the 2018 M-Prize Chamber Arts Competition, where their passion, quality, variety, instrumentation, and focus on the audience experience set them apart. The Moanin’ Frogs have appeared at The Kennedy Center, Detroit Public Television, Texas and Oklahoma Bandmasters Associations, World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg France, and with the US Air Force Band of the West.
Their engaging and eclectic program will take us on a wild voyage of classical, ragtime, jazz and pop: Mozart to Duke Ellington, Bach to Andrew Lloyd Weber, Rossini to Chuck Berry and much more.

Tickets start at $35. Students under 18 are FREE (an escorting adult is $20, purchased at the box office). College student tickets are $16. Tickets are available at the Bankhead Theater box office, 925-373-6800, 2400 First Street, Livermore.
