Join us to hear Associate Curator of the University of South Florida Herbarium, Dr. Christopher A. Kiahtipes, share about his work with biological collections. Preserving one-of-a-kind records of our past, especially from our local environment, helps us to learn more about the language of plants and better understand the natural world around us. The USF Herbarium is known for its rich collection of vascular plants, algae, bryophytes, and lichens. The collection has over 270,000 specimens and more than 10,000 books and related resources.
