The Last 5 Years - Starring Cami Clune & Joshua Vacanti
The Last Five Years is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown. It premiered at Chicago’s Northlight Theatre in 2001 and was produced Off-Broadway in March 2002. Since then, it has had numerous productions in the United States and internationally.
The story explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein (Joshua Vacanti), a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt (Cami Clune), a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which Jamie’s story is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple first met), and Cathy’s story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect.
We are excited to have local talents & “The Voice” contestants Joshua Vacanti and Cami Clune starring in this production of “The Last 5 Years”!
The Kenan Center’s production of “The Last 5 Years” takes place in the intimate 153-seat Taylor Theatre (433 Locust St. Lockport, NY).
Show Schedule
Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2:30 PM, from September 19th through October 6th.
