As is annual tradition, we’re returning to The Line Hotel Austin to host Swim Sessions—a five-part poolside series, closing out The Front Festival 2026.

Tickets are $10 by donation and every cent benefits community initiatives we care about. Capacity is limited.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Hang by the pool or sport a suit. It’s-the-weekend energy encouraged.

MEET THE DJs
Riobamba
Riobamba is a first-generation, Ecuadorian-Lithuanian sound artist/DJ, scholar, and death doula. She’s the founder of APOCALIPSIS, a record label that amplifies artists de aquí y de allá.
DJ BAD APPLE
Appolonia Chukwu (dj_bad_apple), professionally known as DJ BAD APPLE, is a dynamic Black Nigerian-American DJ, music producer, music supervisor, and writer based in Austin, Texas. DJ BAD APPLE has performed at the world-renowned Concourse project for Seismic Dance Event as well as DJ Mag, Formula 1 and Circuit of the Americas, SXSW, and opened for acts like Thundercat, TSHA, DJ Holographic, Trixie Mattel, Shea Couleé, and more. She is a vocal advocate for Black Women in music. She is a pioneer in amplifying minority voices in the industry, notably as Resident Advisor's first City Manager of Austin, and through her award-winning thesis on Black Women’s cultural production in the music space. Her blend of art and activism forges connections and community, embodying the essence of a modern artist and change-maker.
HOW TO ATTEND
Tickets are $10 by donation OR free for Future Front members and The LINE Hotel guests.
Your ticket includes your pool pass—and is required to attend. This event is 18+. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

PLAN YOUR VISIT
VENUE LOCATION + ACCESSIBILITY — All Swim Sessions will be held at The Line Hotel Austin pool deck, which is located at 111 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, Texas 78701. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and all activities will occur on the ground floor.
PARKING —We highly encourage utilizing rideshare or carpooling as there is limited valet parking available onsite. This venue is easily accessible by Austin public transportation, too.
OUR COMMUNITY SAFETY GUIDELINES —
All Future Front staff, volunteers and guests will be required to practice mutual respect, as well as demonstrate an alignment with Future Front’s code of conduct and values: futurefronttexas.org/values.
Capacity is limited to reduce crowding of any kind and all events will be held in primarily outdoor and open-air spaces or have access to proper ventilations and well-maintained A/C systems.
At Future Front events, all guests are expected to follow Austin-local health and safety guidelines for gatherings, as well as practice consideration with the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and any other legal, mind-altering or dangerous substances and objects. This includes:
As Future Front strives to be a good neighbor, we also discourage the use of tobacco products on the property of nearby businesses and residences, to improve air quality, throughout our events.
Tobacco use and electronic smoking device use are not permitted at any time within Future Front properties and event spaces at least 15 ft from entrances, exits, operational windows, or ventilation system intake vents.
Littering of tobacco-related products on the grounds or parking lots is also prohibited.
Concealed or open weapons and firearms (including handguns) are not allowed at any Future Front venues.
