The Delray Jazz Collective Presents: Love Songs & More
For this special Valentine’s performance, the Delray Jazz Collective will present songs and music that make the heart flutter. Exploring songs ranging from those of the Great American Songbook (of course, My Funny Valentine!) to classic rock gems such as the Beach Boys’ God Only Knows (in our view, one of the greatest pop songs ever written), the listener will be taken on a delicious and transportive journey into the world of romantic music – DJC style. The Delray Jazz Collective is an instrumental group of the highest caliber and for this show will be joined by guest vocalists Legends Radio personality Bob Merrill, and the wonderful songstress, Jill Lurie, from the group Sunnyside Swing.
