On Wednesday, November 29, 2023 the Wayne Public Library’s Lunchbox Learning Series will feature “The Danny Bacher Show” presented by Wayne’s own Danny Bacher. Danny will be accompanied on the piano by Jason Teborek. This program will take place in the Meeting Room of the library. This is a free program. Doors open at 12:00 pm. The program itself runs from 12:30 pm. to 1:30 pm. The Wayne Public Library is located at 461 Valley Road in Wayne, NJ and is a barrier free facility.
Danny Bacher is a Renaissance man: a saxophonist, vocalist, composer, educator, actor, writer/playwright and comedian – who’s a master of all genres and on a mission to spread joy. He was born and raised in Wayne, NJ and encouraged by his parents and both sets of grand-parents to pursue his musical career and they exposed him to the Golden Age of Swing. While continuing his music career, Danny graduated from New Jersey City University with a degree in theater as well as music. He began performing as an actor and also worked with his brother Josh on a comedy routine. One of the biggest influences on Bacher has been the comedy team of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Bacher has learned from many mentors along the way. A common thread in this group was their ability to captivate an audience, a quality that he strives for and which he finds missing in so many performers today. Bacher believes that the more you can do the better off you are. Join us for some “Serious Fun” and let this Renaissance Man entertain you.
