THE CULVER STEPS INVITES COMMUNITY TO ENJOY ERISY WATT PERFORMANCE
The Culver Steps, a dynamic mixed-use development in downtown Culver City, California (https://theculversteps.com), invites the community to enjoy a free live performance by Erisy Watt on Thursday, June 4th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of its “Sounds on The Steps” summer music series. A Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, Watt has been described by No Depression as “what contemporary folk sounds like at its peak.” Her music blends earthy storytelling with expansive themes of connection, impermanence and the natural world, drawing inspiration from both the spirit of 1960s and 1970s folk and her experiences teaching ecological field courses on coral reefs in Southeast Asia. During the performance, guests can relax on the center’s steps, the adjacent grassy knoll, or eat at one of the center’s nearby restaurants. The concert is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. The performance will be held on the steps (weather permitting).
