Get ready for a night where "no landmark is safe" as we turn up the heat on our favorite village. The Roast of Oak Park brings together a savage panel of local comedians to celebrate and incinerate everything that makes this town unique. From the endless hunt for parking and the Frank Lloyd Wright obsession to property tax woes and Green Line delays, we’re airing all the local grievances in one hilarious, unfiltered session of high-heat comedy.
This night of total demolition is headlined by the legendary Sean Flannery, a Chicago comedy heavyweight known for NPR’s Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and his hit show The Blackout Diaries. Bringing his unique multi-media set to the stage, Flannery will use visuals and stories to skewer the village with surgical precision. From the Frank Lloyd Wright obsession and parking ticket nightmares to the local quirks we all know too well, no landmark—or local grievance—is safe from the heat.
