THE BLOWIES In-Store Performance & Record Signing
Formed in Austin, Texas, Tucker Jameson and Samuel Thompson met in 2015, performing together in various musical projects. Shortly thereafter the political climate reached a fever pitch that could not be ignored, thus, The Blowies were born. In the midst of the pandemic, the band released their self-titled debut LP The Blowies, recorded at Jim Eno’s (Spoon) vaunted studio Public Hi-Fi. On their sophomore LP, Playing With Ourselves (October 2024), The Blowies have re-assembled the team from their debut to deliver new batch of tunes that hardly shy away from the challenges posed by the realities of modernity, skewering everything that catches their ire with even more piss and vinegar than ever before.
