The Barbary Coast Recorder orchestra, now in its 12th season, is pleased to announce its 2023 Spring Concert: “Restored!”. Performing on stage for the first time since March, 2020 (mere days before the pandemic lockdown), the orchestra will present a varied program featuring an unusual arrangement of Machaut’s "Ma fin est ma commencement," the Overture to "The Impresario" by Mozart as well as his "Queen of the Night" aria (Der Hölle Rache) from The Magic Flute; the first movement from Beethoven's "Pastorale" Symphony Nr. 6, a gamelan-inspired piece by Daniel Goode, and more.
