The Art of Grant Writing
Students will learn the golden rules of grant writing; common mistakes made by inexperienced grant writers; and key components of grant proposals, including how to write the program description, evaluation, budget and sustainability sections. We will also discuss how to identify and develop a relationship with grant funders. Finally, students will have the opportunity to review and vet a live grant proposal.
Please be advised that it is best to register at least a week before the start of a class to help our instructors prepare and ensure that it does not get canceled or rescheduled. Policies regarding registration, refunds, cancellations, etc. can be found on our policies page. At the end of the course, please complete the evaluation form—your feedback is invaluable for improving our classes and supporting the grant reporting that makes these programs possible.
