On Tuesday, November 11, the Gap Theatre jacks into the Matrix with a free presentation of THE ANIMATRIX (2003), the groundbreaking animated anthology that expands the universe of the Wachowskis’ sci-fi landmark. Featuring nine visionary shorts from some of the world’s greatest anime directors, The Animatrix dives deep into the history, philosophy, and surreal nightmares of man versus machine. From the epic origins of the Machine War to dreamlike cyberpunk mind-benders and pulse-pounding action set pieces, this is The Matrix like you’ve never seen it before.
