Spice up your lunch break with Comedy on the Plaza! Head over to 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza every Thursday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM for a live comedy show that will have you laughing out loud. This weekly event, part of the Summer on the Plaza series, is brought to you by Oakland Central and Comedy Oakland and features a rotating lineup of the funniest comedians around.

*** Samson's comedy is a unique blend of his Indian background, Jewish roots, and American life. His clean comedy has been described as cerebral, witty, & refreshing, and is most enjoyed by those who prefer caffeine over alcohol. He has entertained audiences across USA, Canada, and India, & he has been featured on NPR, NBC, CBS, NDTV, The Times of India, Indian Express, Ha'aretz, Asian Jewish Life, and more.
*** Carla Clay appeared in the Purple Onion movie, and Comics Unleashed hosted by Byron Allen. She performed at Punch Lines and Los Angeles Laugh Factory, Rooster T. Feathers Sunnyvale. Marshall’s Women in Comedy Boston, plus Edinburgh Comedy Festival United Kingdom, GBR.
