Hosted by Bombs Away! Comedy on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month, the Talented Enough Show is an unserious talent show in the Undertone bar at Mellotone. The whole idea is right there in the name. You don't have to be talented. You just have to be talented enough. Can you do something cool, weird, or fun? Then you're in, and you could win big.
We're talking the full range of human ability here. Juggling. Yo-yo tricks. Solving a Rubik's cube while people watch. Dead-on impressions. Magic tricks. Interpretive dance. Naming the capitals of an unreasonable number of countries off the top of your head. If it makes a room go "wait, what?" or "no way" or "do that again," it belongs on this stage. There are no wrong answers, only acts that haven't happened yet.
How it works. The show starts at 7:30. If you want to perform, sign-ups run from 6:45 to 7:15, so roll in a little early, put your name down, and figure out the rest later. That's part of the charm. This is not a rehearsed, high-pressure showcase. It's a loose, generous, genuinely fun room where the bar for entry is "I'll give it a shot" and the crowd is on your side from the second you walk up.
Just here to watch? Even better. Honestly, the audience might have the best seat in the house. There is nothing quite like watching a total stranger commit fully to a bit you did not see coming. Some acts will impress you. Some will baffle you. Some will become the thing you tell people about for weeks. Pull up a stool, get a drink going, and enjoy the unpredictable parade of talent, semi-talent, and glorious nonsense.

The bar is open, so you can post up with a local beer or whatever you're in the mood for, and make a proper Tuesday night of it.
Why Tuesdays deserve this. The best nights out are the ones you don't plan. Anybody can go big on a Saturday. It takes a little more spirit to turn a random Tuesday into the night you juggled in front of strangers and somehow won a prize for it. This is the antidote to the midweek slump, a fantastically odd date idea, and the easiest possible way to gather your friends for something that isn't just another round at the usual spot.
