"Take the Risk": A Jazz Lounge at Ochre Court
“Take the Risk”: A Jazz Lounge at Ochre Court, presented by Salve Dance, is a one-night-only performance that celebrates the improvisational spirit at the heart of jazz dance and music. Emphasizing that there is no “right” or “wrong”, only creativity. The evening invites dancers and musicians to embrace spontaneity, authenticity, and discovery. Artistic Direction by Marcus Grant and Trinity Leite, Grant (drums), Andrew Wilcox (piano), Way Campbell (bass), and Dan Liparini (guitar), with choreography by Leite, composition by Grant, and improvisational structures co-created by both artists. “Take the Risk” will be held Wednesday, December 3rd at Ochre Court, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the first set beginning at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited, with standing room available near the bar.
