Blending lecture, performance, and conversation, “Syncopated Siblings” will examine how factors of place, identity, migration, and cultural exchange have impacted the sonic identities of both regions. Music historian, producer, and author Ned Sublette will be joined in dialogue with CUBANEXION, a supergroup of renowned musicians led by legendary percussionist Bill Summers.
