The program opens Mozart’s majestic Symphony #39, and concludes with Shostakovich Symphony #5, one of the iconic orchestral works of the 20th century. In between, the CCO will lighten things up with Peter Schickele’s satirical “Unbegun” Symphony. The CCO performs at Church of the Saviour United Methodist, 8005 Pfeiffer Rd.
