Surviving the Struggles of the Modern Classroom
We are Elisa Preston & Amy Sawyer. Combined, we have 30 years experience in the classroom as a special education teacher (Amy) and a school counselor (Elisa). We have seen the struggles of the modern classroom up close, and we want to help equip teachers with resiliency skills they can carry into their schools and classrooms. You’ll hear Amy’s story of breakdown & rising up. And then we’ll practice the Science of Hope (yes, there’s a science to it!), learn self-awareness through the Enneagram, and take away a handful of resiliency skills for your classroom (and beyond).
And there will be snacks. Always snacks! (Which is what the $10 registration fee will cover!)
Please note: this event is open to the community. It takes place at a church but is not a faith-based event.
