Supraconscious Anti-Pop Toonslop : An Exhibition of Paintings by Louis Bardales
Local artist Louis Bardales presents "Supraconscious Anti-pop Toonslop" at the Chicago Billiard Cave. Drawn from the poet Vicente Huidobro's concept of the 'supraconscious' and Bardales' lifelong engagement with the visual language of comics and cartoons, this exhibition brings forth a body of work that reveals the uncanny and surreal from a new and singular vision.
