Supper Club w/ Artist Kitty Rauth at TXA TXA Club
This vis-à-vis dinner is in collaboration with artist Kitty Rauth, whose work engages conversations that bridge class, queerness, and fat liberation, questioning the delicate boundaries of care and control in public and private concerns around health and wellness.
Rauth’s work uses the charged map of the dinner table to consider the morality placed on consumption and the complicated ethics of pleasure and indulgence.
For this intimate 18-seat dinner, Kitty will be here to discuss their practice, and we’re crafting a menu directly inspired by the works, dishes in both literal and figurative interpretations that challenge the preconceived notions of form and function through food.
