Sunrise Science is a new speaker series where people with really big (and cool) jobs will pour out a little of their expertise, experience and insight into the ways our world is shaped by science. Each event begins at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 9 a.m. so you can continue on with your day, but with a little extra science to fill your cup of knowledge! Sunrise Science events are free, but registration is required.

Just as the Second Industrial Revolution brought us gasoline engines and mass production, society is entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution—driving new innovations through the use of AI.
In his Sunrise Science talk, Dr. Prem Natarajan will provide a brief overview of the history of AI and how far we've come, major trends we're seeing in ways that may affect everyone and what's possible in the space today.
