Sundays in the Park: Pups in the Park at Heartwood Preserve
Furry besties are welcome to enjoy the agility course while owners enjoy lawn games, board games and sports equipment available from the Park Ambassador Station. The Nebraska Humane Society will be on-site with dog adoptions and accepting kibble donations for the Nebraska Humane Society Pet Food Pantry.
This event is part of Heartwood Preserve’s Sunday Mornings in the Park. Weekly events focus on staying active with scavenger hunts, bubble soccer tournaments, and more in a welcoming and family-friendly setting.
Heartwood Park, Omaha’s newest outdoor community gathering space within Heartwood Preserve, will be the go-to destination for family and friends every weekend this spring and summer. There will be over 70 FREE themed events on Thursdays through Sundays hosted at Heartwood Park for residents and families who want to unwind, have fun and connect outdoors.
To make visits more enjoyable, the Heartwood Park Ambassador program offers visitors amenities to borrow on-site, including picnic blankets, board games, lawn games and sports gear for all to enjoy. Amenities will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
