Summit Art at the Lee's Summit Symphony
The Lee's Summit Symphony's live performance of "The Haunted Pavilion" happens Saturday, October 12, 2024, starting at 7pm. Summit Art Juried Artist Member, Kathi Grose, will be showing & selling her fine art glass at this show - before the show, during intermission, and after the show.
Per Kathi, "I always have several glass art projects in process at the same time. Creating a variety of 2-D and 3-D glass art projects keeps my mind, my hands and my heart happy. I enjoy the detailed process of research, learning and experimenting with new techniques, creating a design, choosing glass colors, scoring glass, skillfully fitting each piece together, firing fused glass in my kiln or adding copper foil and soldering stained glass. My style is eclectic and inspired by classic techniques as well as adapting new technologies and modern designs. My color pallet features a variety of bright and vibrant colors. Glass art is beautiful and I enjoy sharing my creations with others."
