Summer Sunset Concert
Say farewell to summer at the Summer Sunset Concert featuring Funkiphino. The concert will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch.
A high-energy band based in Colorado, Funkiphino features 13 members infusing explosive horn lines, old-school Hammond organ sounds, and pumping bass with vocal harmonies. The band’s excellence has earned it nominations and spots as Best Funk Band from Westword Magazine and Marquee Magazine, as well as being the “go-to” band for the Denver Broncos Association and government officials.
Food and dessert will be available for purchase on site from food trucks. This annual free event is co-hosted by the Highlands Ranch Metro District and Highlands Ranch Community Association. Concert goers should park in the RTD lots or garage across from the park along Ridgeline Boulevard. Please note that Civic Green Park has a strict no dogs policy.
