Summer Read To Me at Raising Cane's
The Cane’s Summer Read To Me events will run from June 8th to July 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at select restaurants on Oahu. The program will consist of 3-4 book readings, bookmark making, singing and learning activities provided by Read To Me International, a local non-profit organization that provides parents with the skills and techniques to engage their keiki in a read aloud.
As part of this community focus, Raising Cane’s is offering reading incentive bookmarks at each event to parents to challenge their children 12 year and younger to read 7 books this Summer. Each bookmark has a paw print to be checked for each book read. The paw prints belong to the restaurant’s mascot, a yellow Labrador Retriever named Raising Cane.
After reading 7 books, keiki can turn in their completed bookmarks to their local Raising Cane’s Chicken Finger restaurant to get a FREE KIDS COMBO.
