Summer Fun! with the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra
Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra presents "Summer Fun!" featuring American Idol star Michael Williams at its traditional July 3 concert at 7:15pm in Montgomery Park. Each year this concert kicks off the Montgomery Independence Day Festival at the park which is located at the corner of Montgomery and Schoolhouse Roads. The concert is free and family friendly.
Singer Michael Williams is a native of Mason, Ohio, and reached the finals of both the Voice and American Idol. A favorite of Katy Perry on American Idol in 2023, Michael was in the top 20. On The Voice in 2020, mentor Nick Jonas said Williams had “the voice of an angel.” In his appearance with the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Williams will sing classic hits of summer such as Sittin’ On The Dock of the Bay and Margaritaville.
Elaine Diehl and Suzanne Bona from WGUC90.9 will co-host the program which includes the orchestra performing patriotic favorites such as America the Beautiful and The Stars and Stripes Forever. The program begins at 7:15pm with a special Veterans’ Recognition Ceremony. The music starts at 7:30pm.
Free tickets and information are available at bamso.ludus.com. The audience is encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. There is plenty of free parking available across the street from the park in the Kroger lot at 9939 Montgomery Road. Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the park.
BAMSO will also have a Raffle Basket Fundraiser at this concert with items including Reds tickets, Cincinnati Opera tickets, a wellness basket containing two 1-week passes to the Trihealth Fitness Pavilion, and chocolates from Aglamesis Bros.
