This summer marks a momentous occasion for Music@Menlo: the final festival under the Artistic Directorship of David Finckel and Wu Han. Tickets are now on sale for Redux, a celebratory exploration of chamber music which revisits themes from David and Wu Han's 24 years of leadership.
To mark its tenth season, Music@Menlo turned its focus from the music itself to the listener. Great music moves us, inspires us, transports us, and connects us through shared human experience. This program celebrates that remarkable power, from Telemann’s imaginative Gulliver’s Travels and Suk’s heartfelt Meditation to the rhythmic energy of David Serkin Ludwig, the passion of Liszt, and Tchaikovsky’s beloved Souvenir de Florence, one of chamber music’s most exhilarating masterpieces.
