Ulla Laage from Denmark, carillonneur. Tower tours follow. Celebrating over 35 years of community recitals, the St. Thomas' Carillon at St. Thomas' Church Whitemarsh, Bethlehem Pike and Church Road (Rt. 73) in Fort Washington, (GPS: 7020 Camp Hill Road, Ft. Washington, PA 19034) will again host another season of international summer concerts for the surrounding community. All concerts start at 7:00PM, every Tuesday in July, and are held rain or shine. Admission is free.
The largest bell of the St. Thomas' carillon weighs 3,300 pounds; the smallest only 24 pounds. The carillon is played manually by the carillonneur.
