The 2024 Summer Book Fair will once again be held at the Family Arena.
Friday, August 2:
9:00 am to Noon – Friends of the Library Members only admission
Friends Memberships must be received by Friday, July 26. Join the Friends now.
Friends Memberships will be sold on Friday immediately after the 9 am opening.
Noon to 9:00 pm – Free and open to the general public
Saturday, August 3:
9:00 am to 7:00 pm – Free and open to the general public
Sunday, August 4:
10:00 am to 3:00 pm – Free and open to the general public
$5.00 a bag day (most items). Standard-size plastic grocery bags are provided on site.
Bargain Prices – Great Selection
Over 250,000 items including hardbacks, paperbacks, cake pans, sets, and AV materials! One of
the largest Book Fairs in the St. Louis area.
● Most hardbacks $2.00 each
● Regular size paperbacks 50¢ each
● Oversize paperbacks $1.00 each
● All children’s & teen books 50¢ each
● Cake pans $5.00 each
● Adult graphic novels and AV materials priced as marked
● Some very old books, reference materials, and special items are priced separately.
Cash, check, or credit accepted.
Leftovers Free to Nonprofit Organizations
The Friends will donate the “leftovers” from the 2024 Summer Book Fair to nonprofit organizations (schools, churches, etc.) who can come on Sunday, August 4, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and pick them up. Books will be given away on a first-come-first-serve basis. Nonprofit organizations interested in any of the leftover items should sign up online or contact Jennifer Compton-Linden at (636) 720-3267 prior to the Fair.
