Embark on an exciting Sensory Safari and explore the animal kingdom through all five senses! In this hands-on art camp, young artists will use touch, sight, sound, smell, and even taste to create stunning animal-inspired artwork. Explore animal art through tactile experiences—feeling different textures to recreate fur, feathers, and scales, listening to animal sounds for inspiration, and creating colorful, sensory-driven masterpieces. Connect with the animal world in a fun and interactive way, and create animal sculptures, paintings, and drawings--each day offers a new sensory journey. This will be a wild art adventure you won't forget! Dress for mess and bring a lunch each day.
Parents and family members will be invited to the Sensory Safari Gallery Night- a celebration of the artistic adventure of our young explorers, and discover what the campers have created throughout the week on Friday, August 1 at 4:00 pm.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Classes are held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
