Suicide Prevention Summit 2025
With expert speakers delivering a keynote address, an array of workshops addressing needs in our communities, and a closing session to wrap things up, the conference will build cross-sector collaboration, center diverse voices and lived experience, promote evidence-based practices and innovation, foster community resilience and connection, and encourage action and accountability. Five CEUs will be available to attendees.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Inger Burnett-Zeigler, Chief Behavioral Health Officer, Illinois Department of Human Services
Closing Speaker: Michael Bushman, Board Member and Education Co-Chair, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Illinois Chapter
Workshop Topics: Mental health needs and considerations for veterans, youth, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities; trauma-informed care; suicide assessment; 988/mobile crisis response; and grief.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.
