Originating from the Tallahassee bedroom pop band Naps, Katryn and Ryan released their debut home-recorded album Lost & Found in 2022. They were soon joined by bassist Daniel Palacios and drummer Cameron Davis. Their music evokes the innocent charm of 80s and 90s twee pop, while tapping into more modern elements from hyperpop, bubble grunge, and emo. Their catchy melodies paired with somber lyrical elements under distortion and noise create a fresh take on twee for the 2020s.
