Strike Out Cancer Bowling Challenge 2024

We are excited to announce the 16th Annual Strike Out Cancer Bowling Challenge! During the event, there will be a lot of extra activities going on. We will have a silent auction and Wishing Wells with a wide variety of items to bid on, so come prepared to shop. We will also have Spin the Prize Wheel opportunities, 50/50 chances, and much more! Should you or anyone you know be interested in donating an item or a business service for the silent auction or other activities, then please share the attached donation form with them. Listed below is a very small sampling of items, packages, and services that will be available for winning, bidding, and purchasing. • Hotel packages: Hilton Norfolk the Main, Holiday Inn Roanoke-Tanglewood, Newport News Marriott at City Center, The George Washington, The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, The Jefferson Hotel, The Quirk Hotel Charlottesville, The Quirk Hotel Richmond, The Virginian Hotel • Entertainment: Children’s Museum of Richmond, Great Wolf Lodge, Visit Williamsburg, Richmond Flying Squirrels • Restaurant Certificates/Cards • Bowling Equipment, Tools, Crafts, Games, Gift Baskets, Household Items, Jewelry, Toys • Purple Ribbon Bake Sale with delicious home-baked goods • And much more!!! We are still accepting donations for the silent auction from individuals and businesses. Anyone that donates a silent auction item and that will be participating on-site will be given 5 free 50/50 tickets. Please share the Donation Request Letter to request donations for the silent auction. Businesses that donate may also have business cards and flyers displayed for advertisements. All registrations include 3 games of 9-pin no tap bowling on a single lane and shoe rental. 9-pin no tap bowling is a unique bowling game where if the bowler knocks down nine pins on the first ball of a frame, then that actually counts as a strike! The electronic scoring system will take care of your score calculations, so all you have to do is bowl and have fun! Trophies and prizes will be given for various bowling achievements. All proceeds of this event will be donated to the American Cancer Society in support of their mission of finding a cure for cancer while continuing to provide many support services for cancer survivors and caregivers.
