Storyhouse "Fall-iday" Family Costume Party + Storytime
Storytime: Join Storyhouse and Nos books at 10:30am and/or 11am to celebrate Dìa de los Muertos and Halloween with great books, songs and learning for families.
Crafting: We will have stations to craft paper marigolds and your own photo frames to leave with our collective Dìa de los Muertos ofrenda and fun pumpkin crafts to take home.
Face-painting: Our beloved Dainty Knotts Art will be onsite for free face-painting for kiddos and selling her exceptional bookish creations.
Lil’ G’s Treats: Lil’ G will sell cozy handmade hot cocoa bombs and other spooky treats.
Cider-walk Sale: Grab a hot apple cider on the house to sip while you browse Storyhouse’s outdoor book sale.
Nos Books is an online pop-up bookstore focused on diverse stories and authors. We think they’re pretty great and are excited for their journey toward becoming a brick and mortar here in Des Moines.
