Handstitch your hopes and dreams for fiber artist Lisa Thorpe’s ongoing community art project for connection and creativity!
Join us for an ongoing community project hosted by Lisa Thorpe, one of the fiber artists showing in the Argenta Gallery during August and September.
You will write a hope/dream/prayer on a strip of paper then enclose it in a little patch pocket with an easy hand stitch. Your patch will then be stitched together with others as an example of community connection and creativity.
No stitch experience is needed, and all materials will be provided to create one dream patch. This free program is intended for tweens and up, and no registration is required.
