Stew & Story "A Walk Down Caprilands Memory Lane,"
The Coventry Historical Society will hold its annual Stew & Story on Thursday March 16 at 6:30 pm at the Second Congregational Church Community House, 1746 Boston Tpke (Rt 44), Coventry. Dinner will feature a variety of homemade soups and stews, appetizers, breads, desserts, and drinks, with some recipes coming from Adelma Grenier Simmons' Caprilands books to set the stage for "A Walk Down Caprilands Memory Lane," conversations among former employees about what it was like to work at Caprilands Herb Farm during the golden years of that remarkable place. Cost is $5 for members and $15 for non-members payable at the door. Registration required. RSVP with number attending to [email protected] or 860-712-4278.
